ALBERTELLA:
ARTISTS FOR 5 GENERATIONS
Albertella Family
The Albertella family has specialized in the creation and restoration of artistic stained glass windows for five generations. The company was founded in 1905 in Milan by Mario, who established the "Casa d'Arte Albertella."
His son, Raffaele, joined his father in the business until 1948, when, after being awarded the contract for the restoration of the artistic stained glass windows of Genoa Cathedral, he relocated to Genoa and founded the "Studio d'Arte Prof. Raffaele Albertella."
In 1961, his son Riccardo took over and established the "Studio d'Arte Albertella," leading the company until 1997, when his sons, Dr. Luca and Architect Davide, joined the business, forming the current company, "Studio d'Arte e Architettura Albertella."
In 2000, the Studio expanded its visibility by opening a showroom at Via Orsini 31r. In July 2012, the Studio was entered in the “Registro Imprese Storiche” (Historical Companies Register), the register of companies that have made Italian history.
In December 2023, the firm was awarded the title ‘Bottega Storica’ (Historical Workshop) and entered in the relevant register.
